 Configuration

The module is easy to configure in just a few steps. Place a module on a page and choose the 'configure report servers' from the action menu. Click on the 'Enable Report' viewer button to setup the required web.config settings.

After updating the web.config you can add one or more servers for use by your modules. When logged in as a superuser you can create 'public' servers which can be used by all the portals. Before a server is stored the entered connection data is verified by connecting to the server.

After setting up the available reporting servers you can setup the report to display in the module settings. You select the server to use and select the report to display from the list of available reports.

Report server: Here you choose the server to display a report from

Report path: Here you select the report to display. After selecting a report the available parameters will be automatically retrieved.

Report parameters: If the selected report has parameters you can set up the defaults to use here. An example of an URL to use when using the querystring to pass default parameters is also displayed here.

Report display settings: In this section you can determine which (toolbar) options should be available for the user and if you want to display the toolbar and/or parameter prompts.

After configuring your report the report viewer will display the chosen report in the reportviewer.
